School Field Trips

For an unforgettable class outing, there’s just no better place to pick than Alyson’s Orchard!  Join us for an (age-appropriate) informative hands-on educational experience, learning about what it takes to grow and harvest our fruits. Then it’s onto the hay wagon to the apple orchard you go! 

Each child will pick apples into their own bag from easily reached, dwarf trees. Cider and cookies are always a great treat for thirsty pickers, and at the end of the tour, your group will be given a pumpkin for their classroom. For a fun memory of your field trip be sure to bring your camera and take a photo of your group next to our giant pumpkin!

Cost:  $5.00 per child.  Payment is required in full when you arrive at the orchard on the day of your field trip.  Please pay by cash or check, one payment for the whole class.

We require an adult to student ratio of one to five. Chaperones, teachers and bus drivers are not charged for the tour and wagon ride, and apple-picking bags may be purchased at our farm stand.  You are welcome to bring a snack or a picnic lunch and enjoy our beautiful grounds and children’s play area.
